From Your Editor:
As I write this, at the end of November, with Winter here on our doorstep, I am reminded of those who have little due to any number of reasons.
Certainly some should never have come to this glorious Province of ours, with the promise of plenty of work and a lack of living spaces. BUT come they did, and they found plenty of work BUT nowhere to live did hinder their progress. I know that this is the season of giving in any number of Religions, each celebrating something, so be aware of those folk, and do what you can.
I have read that the average Calgarian will spend between $700 and $1000 each this Christmas. That amount is more than I get in a month. I am not begging, I just ask that you put things in perspective and give a little something to those who have looked after you during the past year. The bus driver perhaps who waited for you many a time as you ran late for the bus. The mailman who did get your mail through each day “come hell or high water,” your secretary / receptionist who looked after your messages and appointments etc.
Need I say more, except Seasons Greetings to those not of The Christian Faith, and Merry Christmas to One and All, to those who are.
To International Seasons Greetings
Merry Christmas from your Editors
Peter and Peter
